Inner Circle Management offers two main forms of administrative support, services for hire and skills development/training. In addition to our artist clients, Inner Circle is taking a lead role in the establishment of a comprehensive training program for the creative sector in Saskatchewan. Facilitating workshops and training sessions for the arts community in partnership with various arts service organizations will be a key activity to help foster the growth of Saskatchewan’s artists and creative economy. Our workshops will include event coordination and event production workshops in communities around Saskatchewan.
A pilot program to develop entrepreneurial skills for artists has been launched by the Saskatchewan Arts Board, using curriculum developed by the Cultural Human Resource Council, and funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment & Labour. In 2008, Marian was engaged to develop and deliver a new course in Arts Administration at the University of Regina. This joint offering from the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Fine Arts was launched in January 2009, with 45 students enrolled in the inaugural class. It is now in its second year at the U of R.
We have also begun to work as "business incubators", and are currently providing strategic and management support to a number of new start-ups, including a house lifting company, a new Regina arts magazine, and a fashion design collective.
