Matt Donnelly is a graduate of the Fashion Design program at Ryerson University. While completing his Bachelor of Design program in Toronto, he began to make a name for himself as a talented designer and visual artist. (The photo at left shows Matt standing between two of his recent works on display at the Elaine Fleck Gallery in Toronto. Both paintings sold before the show opened.)
Matt has been a featured designer at a number of fashion events, notably the 2005, 2007 and 2009 Power of Pink Gala events held at Casino Regina (Regina, Saskatchewan).
His graduating collection was featured at Mass Exodus, Toronto, April 7 and 8, 2009. Matt was also a featured designer at the Toronto Alternative Fashion Week, April 21-24, 2009.
Matt currently resides in Provincetown, Massachussetts, where he is preparing for a summer 2010 exhibition of his visual art, and is working on his first collection of clothing that will be sold at Silk and Feathers, a designer-owned retail store in Provincetown.
