Inner Circle Management presented Art Grateful!, a Thanksgiving celebration of the arts in Regina, on Friday, October 10, 2008, at the Royal Canadian Legion building located at 1820 Cornwall Street in Regina.Net proceeds from this event are going toward the capital costs associated with the renovations of the Loggie’s Building (shown) and the establishment of a creative cluster in Regina’s downtown.
The evening featured performances by Eileen Laverty, Sue Medley, Katherine Wheatley and emerging talent Kirby Criddle, a fashion show featuring designs by Seams Radical, the new fashion collective that will be located in the renovated space, a special performance by FadaDance, and a silent auction of artworks by local talents including Jeannie Mah, Rob Bos, Jana Kutarna and many others. The second half of the evening featured performances by folk punksters Westport Murders, and dj’s Hardtoe and MateMota.
