Sue Medley
Sue Medley was signed to Polygram Canada in 1989 and released a self-titled debut CD in 1990. The album was co-produced by Medley and John Mellencamp producer Michael Wanchic and featured strong performances by John Hiatt's band The Goners. In Canada Medley's first single, "Dangerous Times" not only pushed her debut album to gold status within a few weeks of release, but was #1 on MuchMusic for two weeks, #1 on the Pop Adult charts for a whopping 12 weeks, in the Top 3 of the national Album Rock chart for six weeks, and earned Sue a SOCAN Songwriter of the Year Award for most airplay. On the heels of the singles "Dangerous Times" and “Maybe The Next Time", among others, she toured North America the rest of the year opening for Bob Dylan and other high profile artists. Her second album, 'Inside Out', was released in 1992, and continued her radio assault with a handful of additional singles and national tours with the likes of Tom Cochrane, Kim Mitchell and 54.40 keeping her in the limelight. The first single "When The Stars Fall" became a hit on album radio and reached #2 on The Record's chart (being locked out of #1 only by U2). In September 1992, Medley moved to Nashville to focus on breaking into the American market and to write some new tunes. That same year she was invited by John Mellencamp to participate in the Bob Dylan Tribute at Madison Square Garden in New York, and performed a duet with Mellencamp on the classic Dylan track “Like A Rolling Stone”. Her third album, however, would not be forthcoming. Following a two-year dispute with her record label over the songs that would comprise that release, she and Polygram parted ways. Medley lived and worked in Los Angeles for over ten years, teaching guitar and helping to develop a new generation of budding songwriters and recording artists. Having recently returned to her roots on Vancouver Island, Medley is now writing and demoing new material and planning a return to the Canadian music scene in 2009, with the managerial assistance of Inner Circle Management.

Kirby's music is a delightful fusion of rich, earthy vocals, raw, honest lyrics and simple, organic melodies on guitar and piano. The twenty-three year old indie-folk singer songwriter hails from Saskatoon, and while her music is reminiscent of the fact that she makes her home in the heart of the prairies, it has its own "je ne sais quoi" that you'd be hard pressed to put your finger on.Currently finishing up her debut album, Vena Cava, Kirby plans to join forces with Mark Ceaser (of Sexually Attracted to Fire fame), and tour out to Victoria and back mid-November 2008, playing thirteen shows along the way. Kirby has shared the stage with artists such as Emm Gryner, Joel Fafard, Josh Palmer, Carrie Catherine and Coco Love Alcorn, just to name a few. Inner Circle Management has provided business and stage management support to FadaDance for almost three years.
